The Secret of Living is Being Ready to Die (11-9-08)

This is a backwards life when we look at things from the worlds point of view. Only when we choose to look at the big picture whereby God and the unseen spiritual world exist does life start to make sense. When we consider the fact that we will live for the rest of eternity, the length of this human life becomes unimportant. When we are 100% sure we are going to heaven when we die, we can enjoy living the rest of our life without the fear of death.

This physical life alone does not make sense.

When the only life possible is this short physical life, we need to stay alive as long as possible. But if we live by the ways of this world, eating, drinking and being merry, without any concern for our bodies, we will soon become unhealthy and ruin the rest our short life. Many deny God so they can live as they please, but then they kill themselves early or die after much illness thanks to their permissive lifestyle.

 This physical life in combination with our future spiritual life does make sense.

This short physical life is just a test to see where and how we will spend the rest of eternity when we die. The results of our own Test of Life will be judged by Jesus Christ who knows our every though, word and deed. The truth is, Jesus will not actually judge our life, the verdict will already be in the moment we die, Jesus will only tell us our sentence.

If we want to pass our own Test of Life we need to choose to live by the right ways written in our conscience from birth. No one will be able to use the excuse they never even heard about Jesus. People who never heard of Jesus will get a break, they will not need to be perfect to get into heaven, they will just need to have followed their conscience to the best of their ability. People who know about Jesus and do not believe will be judged more severely.

If we want a free pass to heaven, all we need to is become Born Again by honestly choosing believing Jesus is exactly who He says He is and our names are written in the Book of Life. If we do not honestly choose to believe in Jesus, He will know because He knows all of our thoughts, feelings and emotions. When we become Born Again, inwardly our life will be changed forever, but our outward life will be change slowly and then only with great effort. When most Christians become Born Again, they change very little outwardly because they are not taught, “Who we are in Christ.” So they go on living under the condemnation of Satan, just like everyone who have never become Born Again. They are going to heaven when they die, it is just that they often continue to act as bad or worse than worldly people.

Important Point: Anyone who is Born Again and does not know, “Who they are in Christ,” is still living under the condemnation of Satan, just like the rest of the world. That is right, the rest of the world is living under the condemnation of Satan, even if they choose to deny the existence of God and/or Satan. As long as Satan can put us down, we can never have real peace in our life. Because of Satan’s condemnation, no matter how much fame, fortune or stuff we pile up, too much will never be enough as long as we are living under condemnation.

Important Point: We are all subject to all of the spiritual laws, all of our lives, even if we do not know what the spiritual laws are or choose to deny they exist, we are still subject to them.

Worldly people can take advantage of the spiritual laws by learning how they work and choose to apply them in their lives. Secular positive thinking is the prime example of how worldly people can benefit from applying the spiritual laws in there lives. Worldly people today use Karma, which is another name for the Golden Rule, to get good things in their life by doing good to others. Do unto others as you would have it be done unto you.

Important Point: The Peace of God is the absence of Satan’s condemnation. Worldly people can never find real peace because without believing in the spiritual power of Jesus dying on the cross for all of our sins, they can never overcome the spiritual power of Satan. Without Jesus on our side, Satan is too powerful for us humans alone. It is like trying to fight off murder who has an machine gun with a water pistol.

Important Point: The Joy of God is knowing how to receive the Love of God, loving ourselves and passing the Love of God along to others by developing the, “Fruit of the Spirit,” in our lives. It is impossible for us generate love for the unlovely, but when we, who are also unlovely because of how we act, learn to receive the Love of God in spite of ourselves, we are in a humble state of mind and are able to pass along the great Love of God to others.
